Sessions are generally repeated about 3 to 5 times at two-week intervals; the number of sessions and intervals required are determined individually by the medical team according to the severity of the acne, the skin condition, and the treatment response. Please inform the medical team before treatment if you are pregnant or pregnancy is possible, if you have active herpes simplex or a skin infection, or if you are taking an oral retinoid such as isotretinoin or medication that can increase photosensitivity.

What Is Ethosome PTT?
Ethosome PTT is a combination care focused on oily, acne-prone skin. An 'ethosome ampoule' carrying active ingredients is absorbed into the skin, after which a Genesis (1064 nm) laser's gentle warmth helps tidy up the skin's environment. The session takes about 30 minutes with essentially no downtime, so most people get back to their day right away. Think of it like sealing contents in a delivery package so they arrive safely — the skin-friendly phospholipid and ethanol shell carries calming and sebum-care ingredients into the skin, after which the laser's gentle warmth tidies up the skin's environment.
What to Expect: The Ethosome PTT Treatment Process
1) Cleansing and skin assessment (intensity adjusted to inflammation/redness).
2) Comedone or acne extraction (performed as needed based on skin condition; included in the base treatment).
3) Application of the ethosome ampoule, with about 3 minutes of ultrasound to aid absorption.
4) Roughly 10 minutes of absorption time.
5) Genesis (1064 nm) laser delivery of gentle photo-thermal energy, moved smoothly across the face without lingering on any single spot to avoid localized overheating.
6) Soothing and finishing care.
Total time is about 30 minutes (including extraction), performed at a comfortable intensity that typically does not require topical anesthesia. The laser is always operated under medical supervision.
When Will Ethosome PTT Results Appear — and How Long Do They Last?
Mild redness may appear right after the session; this is usually a normal reaction that settles within a few hours. Reduced oiliness/shine and skin calming are often felt gradually over the course of treatment, and changes are typically easier to notice after the recommended 3-5 sessions at 2-week intervals. As sebum and pore condition become more balanced, it may help support smoother-looking skin texture. The degree of response, onset, and duration vary by individual depending on skin condition, lifestyle, and acne type, and results are not guaranteed. After treatment, moisturizing and sun protection are recommended to support oil-moisture balance, and at consultation the doctor suggests a home-care direction matched to the skin so patients can carry the care over at home. If redness, swelling, or irritation lasts beyond a day or worsens, the clinic should be contacted — the team can advise remotely or arrange a follow-up before traveling.
Ethosome PTT Safety Information & Aftercare
Ethosome PTT is not recommended during pregnancy or when pregnancy is possible. If there is active herpes simplex, infection, severe inflammation, or an open wound in the treatment area, it is recommended to avoid that area or to treat after the skin has fully recovered. If you are taking or have recently taken an oral retinoid such as isotretinoin, or are taking medication that can increase photosensitivity, please inform the medical team before treatment; eligibility and intensity are determined according to the skin condition.
If you have recently had excessive sun exposure, tanning, or UV burn, it is also best to treat after the skin has fully recovered. Temporary redness, warmth, stinging, or dryness may occur after treatment; if the discomfort is severe or persists, please inform the medical team.
Adequate moisturizing and sun protection are recommended after treatment, and it is best to avoid strong UV exposure for a few days. On the day of treatment, do not rub or irritate the treated area, and it is recommended to avoid activities that can increase warmth and irritation in the skin, such as saunas, hot compresses, vigorous exercise, and alcohol.
