How Potenza works

Traditional microneedling uses fine needles alone. Potenza adds radiofrequency (RF) energy delivered through the needles, which is intended to stimulate collagen deeper in the skin. Our treatment page lists Potenza for people with sagging skin or loss of elasticity, fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, and dull or uneven tone and enlarged pores.

Different tips are used for different purposes and areas — N25 / I25, Agnes for the full face or the nose, and Pumping. The doctor decides which tip and settings suit your skin at the consultation; you do not need to choose one before you come.

What happens on the day

The visit starts with a consultation and skin analysis. Numbing cream is then applied so the treatment is more comfortable. The doctor performs the RF microneedling, and the session ends with cooling and a soothing serum. Plan for the treatment itself to take about 30–60 minutes depending on the area, plus time for the consultation and numbing.

According to our treatment page, visible skin changes are described within 2–3 weeks, with fuller changes over 2–3 months. How much changes, and how quickly, varies from person to person, and a series of sessions is often recommended.

Aftercare and travel

Mild redness and sensitivity are normal and usually settle within a few days. For 24–48 hours, avoid makeup and harsh skincare products. For 48 hours, avoid heavy sweating, saunas and hot showers. Keep the skin moisturized with gentle products and use sunscreen every day to protect the healing skin.

If you are visiting from abroad, tell us your travel dates. A session early in your stay leaves time for the first days of redness to settle before you fly. Prices for each tip are posted in English on our website; listed prices exclude 10% VAT.
