Compared with other treatments
Q.Is this a stem cell treatment?
- A.No. It uses platelets and plasma (PRP) separated from your own blood. REPIC does not call this stem cell therapy.
Q.Is this given as an IV (intravenous) drip?
- A.No. The PRP and plasma are injected into your face (or scalp), or applied after MTS, on the same day. The treatments on this page do not include IV procedures.
Q.Is my blood cultured or stored?
- A.No. Nothing is cultured or stored. Your blood is used only for you, only that day, and whatever is left over is discarded the same day.
First visit
Q.Can I have the treatment on the same day as my consultation?
- A.Same-day treatment after diagnosis is possible. The doctor decides based on the treatment type and your skin condition.
Q.Is there a deposit? When do I pay?
- A.There is no deposit. You pay at the front desk on the day, after your consultation. We accept overseas credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay), Alipay, WeChat Pay and PayPay.
Q.Can I combine this with other treatments on the same day?
- A.Often, yes — it depends on the treatments. The doctor decides which ones to combine and in what order after your diagnosis.
Q.Can I fly right after the treatment?
- A.It depends on the treatment and your skin, so the doctor will advise you at your consultation. Please tell us your departure date when you book.
