REPIC Clinic Gangnam · Skin boosters (Rejuran, PDRN, Juvelook, exosome)
Where can I get PDRN (salmon DNA) injections in Seoul, and can I have one on a short trip?
REPIC Clinic Gangnam, about a 7-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 4 in Seoul, offers PDRN injection — a skin booster using PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) derived from salmon — performed by a doctor in about 15 minutes, with around 1 day of downtime.
A single session fits easily into a trip, but because its benefits build over a series spaced 2–3 weeks apart, the doctor will explain what one visit can do based on your travel dates.

What PDRN injection is
PDRN injection is a skin booster. Instead of adding volume from outside the way a filler does, it is intended to signal the skin’s own collagen-making cells to renew themselves. The PDRN in the injection is a DNA-fragment component derived from salmon, used to help regulate inflammatory responses in the skin and support the recovery of damaged tissue.
Our treatment page lists it for skin that has become reactive or easily red after irritation, a weakened skin barrier, dry and dull skin, and early signs of aging such as fine lines — particularly when someone prefers gradual improvement over strong stimulation. The doctor judges suitability after assessing your skin.
What happens at the clinic
The visit starts with a skin assessment and a review of safety questions: pregnancy, current medications (especially blood thinners), allergies and any history of herpes. Makeup is removed and the area is disinfected. If needed, numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes. The doctor then delivers PDRN into the dermis through a series of fine micro-injections under sterile conditions, and you receive home-care instructions.
The injection itself takes about 15 minutes. Patients may notice a hydrated feel soon after, while texture refines gradually over a series. PDRN does not add volume or fill deep lines. Onset and results vary from person to person.
Having PDRN during a visit to Korea
A single session is a short visit and is fine to do on a trip. Because the benefit builds over a recommended series spaced 2–3 weeks apart, tell the doctor your travel dates; the team will talk through what one visit can realistically achieve and any follow-up they recommend.
On the day of treatment, do not rub the injection sites, and avoid alcohol, saunas, hot baths and vigorous exercise. Keep the skin moisturized and use sun protection. If pain, swelling or warmth gets worse, or you notice signs of infection, seek medical assessment and contact us. PDRN can also be part of the full-face REPIC Scar Care program.

Frequently asked questions
- Is PDRN the same as a filler?
- No. A filler physically adds volume. PDRN injection focuses on regeneration and does not fill volume or deep lines.
- Will one session be enough?
- You may notice a hydrated feel soon after, but the benefits accumulate. A series at 2–3 week intervals is generally recommended, and the number of sessions is decided at consultation.
- Is there downtime?
- Around 1 day. Minor redness, swelling or injection marks are possible and usually settle quickly; most people return to their day promptly.
- Can I have it if I am pregnant or taking medication?
- It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you take blood thinners or other medication, tell us in advance; any decision to pause medication must be made with your prescribing doctor.
- How is PDRN different from Rejuran?
- Both use salmon-derived DNA ingredients, but Rejuran uses PN (polynucleotide) and PDRN injection uses PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide). See our page comparing the two.
