What the authenticity check covers
Ultherapy and Thermage both use single-use consumable tips, and the tip is the part of a quote you cannot see from a price list. At REPIC Clinic Gangnam the Ultherapy and Thermage tips go through an authenticity check at the clinic, and for Thermage you also receive a separate authenticity certificate. If you would like to see the check, ask at your consultation.
The check is one half of the answer. The other half is who performs the treatment: at REPIC the doctor performs Ultherapy and Thermage personally, after looking at your 3D facial scan and deciding where the shots go.
Questions to ask any clinic in Korea
Whichever clinic you choose, the same questions help. How is the tip checked, and can I see it? Will I receive a certificate for Thermage? Who performs the treatment — a doctor or another member of staff? How many shots are included, and on which areas? Is VAT added at payment? A clear answer to each one tells you what you are paying for.

- Ask to see the tip authenticity check; for Thermage you receive the authenticity certificate.
- The doctor performs the treatment, and your treatment record can be issued in a foreign language.
